Asher Menachem Paley the 8 year old brother of Yaakov Yisrael, the 6 year old victim in Friday’s ramming attack, has succumbed to his wounds.

On Friday, an arab terrorist rammed his car into a bus stop packed with civilians in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot.

“A car hit the people at the bus stop. Volunteers are currently performing CPR on a young boy approximately eight years old,” said United Hatzalah CEO Eli Pollack. “Another man in his late 20s is in critical condition. We treated three other three people who were hurt in the incident.”

Two people were pronounced dead on Friday – one of them a 6 year old boy, Yaakov Yisrael.

The Minister of the Negev, the Galilee and National Resilience, Yitzhak Wasserlauf, commented:” The heart breaks for young lives that were taken at the hands of a wrongdoer. Our hearts go out to the families of the murdered. We wish the injured a speedy recovery. In the face of terrorism, there is only one way – to take a heavy hand, without consideration and without legal and political restrictions. Minister Ben-Gvir must be given extensive powers in eastern Jerusalem, in order to implement his policy, to overwhelm and burn the nests of Palestinian terrorism and incitement, including the destruction of houses, the denial of residency and the deportation of families terrorists”.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has ordered the destruction of the terrorist’s home. IDF troops are already entering the eastern Jerusalem neighborhood where the arab attacker lived.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir wrote the following on social media:

“I am determined to launch ‘Operation Defensive Sheild 2’ in Jerusalem. To those officials who are speaking against me: the police have the authority to demolish illegal houses, arrest over 150 targets, raid houses, stop the incitement in the mosques, detain those who owe taxes, and more. The security cabinet is important, and I will request additional things there, but governance is very important, and I will make sure it stays that way.”
