WhatsappFrom which angle is the security of the West most in danger? Is it the porous border that allows in all kinds of elements – not just peace-loving and freedom seeking people? Or is the greatest danger from a far away source that we may have a hard time perceiving, such as China or Russia? Or, is it the dangerous radical Islamic spread emanating from Iran and other Middle Eastern countries?
Most people would agree that all of the above pose a security threat on one level or another. However, the greatest security threat today is probably not China or Russia. Collusion between the two countries poses a massive danger to the West. But historically, the odds of China and Russia being able to stand together in collusion for very long is not so strong. The two countries have a strong history of hating each other. Today’s cooperation between the two countries is nothing more than an alignment of their interests. Russia wants to grab Ukraine and needs China’s money to fend off the Western sanctions. China wants to invade Taiwan and needs Russia to preoccupy the West with an invasion of Ukraine.
There is no reason to assume that these interests will stay aligned for decades to come. As Russia continues to age and clean energy becomes more of a factor in the world, Russia’s economic power will continue to decline rapidly. China, on the other hand, is going in the opposite direction. Their economic dominance is growing by leaps and bounds. The world, especially the developing world, is becoming more and more dependent on China, through China’s massive road and belt initiative.
It is no longer just the world’s toy and clothing industry that is dominated by China. It is nearly everything of value – including vital things, from pharmaceuticals to smart phones, shipping lanes and hi-speed trains that are manufactured and distributed from China.
But China understands that the greatest threat that it has is internal. If the population in China is allowed to rally and protest in the hundreds of thousands in order to have more freedom, the Communist Party will teeter. So, the Communist Party allows more freedom to prosper while clamping down again and again on any freedom from the totalitarian system they rule over. It is capitalism under the communist umbrella – a system of government that is very effective, despite it’s horrible human rights record.
The United States – and other Western countries – like Canada, are free countries that are not facing up to the threats they are facing from within. The United States and most of the West are filling up every day with non-families that are raising a new generation of non-normal people. There is no way to sugarcoat it. The woke anti-family unit ideology is ripping apart the most basic building block of a healthy society – the family. Gender confusion is not normal and should be treated, not encouraged. Add to that the invasion of fentanyl across the southwest border of Mexico, and you have a perfect storm that has led to the destruction of cities like Los Angeles with homeless drug addicts on countless corners. There is no reason to assume this trend will slow down.
The reality is that police and law enforcement are not the main problem in America even though things are going the wrong direction there too. It is the widespread breakdown of the family unit and the ideals of moral relativism that have turned basic concepts such as truth and normal upside down.
The fight that needs to be fought is the fight to bring back basic family values that lead to normal law-abiding productive citizenry. Only this will propel the United States and the West to continue bringing the world towards a more freedom-filled society.
