WhatsappIt is time to think about the alternatives that the Democrat Party have to President Joe Biden. It is actually staggering that Joe Biden has managed to last this long in the Oval Office, while clearly suffering from mental decline. World leaders have clearly taken note. Some, like Putin, have decided that this was the perfect time to make their moves – while the world’s guardian of freedom is asleep at the wheel.
So, who will be the Democrat nominee in 2024? Will it be Kamala Harris? Gavin Newsom? Bobby Kennedy? A non-political newcomer to politics? Whomever it may turn out to be, they will probably be shellacked by anybody the Republican side puts up for election. Yes, even Donald Trump, can probably defeat any of the Democrat potential candidates.
The United States has gone through some major changes over the last decade or two. The sane, liberal, middle of the roaders are fast disappearing. Anyone younger than 30-35 has probably chosen the direction of radical woke progressive. Their guy will probably be Newsom. They won’t say it out loud, but they probably don’t really think Kamala Harris is up to the job. Yet, amazingly, they see what Gavin Newsom has done in California as somehow being a show of good leadership.
The older Democrats are in a bind. They are repulsed by Trump, but also aware that woke progressive politics have taken the Democrat Party off the cliff. So, they really have nobody they are comfortable with except for Nikki Haley or perhaps Bobby Kennedy.
It is a perfect time for a newcomer to enter the fray. The Democrat Party’s weakness is Ron DeSantis’ greatest asset. He is smart enough to realize that in 2024, he will either win or be defeated by Trump or a radical progressive woke politician. Either way, he is perfectly situated in 2028 to run for office again.
When you run without feeling pressure to win, you perform well. It is a show and this time, Donald Trump will come off as angry and out of touch. DeSantis needs to stay cool and calm when he goes toe to toe with Trump. If he can’t handle Trump, then how will he handle Putin and Xing?
Kamala Harris ad Gavin Newsom have shown great ability at keeping composed while defending horrible political performances. The games are beginning. Biden will almost definitely be watching from the sidelines, relieved that he can nod off whenever he needs to.
