How Disastrous Was Biden’s Visit to Israel?

A very influential media and intellectual thinker in Israel, Gadi Taub, wrote a facebook post in Hebrew summing up how disastrous Biden’s visit to Israel was for Israel.

Gadi Taub is one of the founders of the left-wing peace now movement. He grew up deep in the political left, yet one day realized that he was fed a narrative of lies. Today, he is one of the leading thinkers of the the right-wing conservative camp.

This is how he sums up Biden’s visit to Israel.

  • Biden conditioned US support based on the following conditions:
  • Israel must not strike Hezbollah with a preemptive blow.
  • It is forbidden for Israel to occupy the Gaza strip.
  • He warned Israel against harming civilians.
  • He forced Israel to allow “humanitarian aid” be given to Gaza, and forced us to loosen the pressure of the blockade.
  • He will be giving $100 million in aid to the Gaza Strip. While declaring that none of that money will go to Hamas, that is a lie. Anything that goes into Gaza goes to Hamas.
  • Six billion dollars to Iran were not frozen.
  • The US administration will continue to claim that there is “no direct evidence” of Iranian involvement in the Simchat Torah massacre, thus protecting the continuation of its disastrous Middle East policy, of propping up the Iranian regime, from American public opinion.
  • The position of the United States is that the majority of Gaza Arabs who voted for Hamas do not really support it.
  • Biden reiterated his belief in the two-state solution.

On the other hand:

  • He promised a generous aid package to Israel (which will also deepen Israel’s military dependence on America, which is very bad news).
  • Two US aircraft carriers arrived in the area with the stated goal of preventing Hezbollah from attacking (but on the condition that we don’t attack either).
  • “The cooperation between Israel and the US was deepened” (meaning, Biden administration representatives were integrated into our decision-making processes so that we do not decide anything that is not approved by the US first).
  • We got a hug.

To sum up: President Biden blocked any way for Israel to unequivocally win this war, in a sense sending the message to Israel’s enemies that we are weak, and dependant on others to defend ourselves. This was a “historic visit indeed”. Biden made an important contribution to tipping the balance of power in the region against Israel.

and for dessert:

No one said anything about the fact that yesterday, according to the nuclear agreement, the restrictions on Iran’s ballistic missile program expired. How symbolic.

Biden did not come to help Israel win our war against our evil enemy the #palestinazis. He came to tie our hands to ensure that we don’t win.

In reality, the Biden administration is continuing to allow Iran to go nuclear, while simulatenously freeing up billions of dollars for Iran to use to finance its war against Israel via Hamas and Hizbullah.

The picture that emerges is that the Biden administration is financing both sides of this war, a war that it is not allowing Israel to end and properly protect Israeli citizens moving forward.

With friends like the Biden administration, who needs enemies.

However, looking at the modern history of Israel, we were victorious in all of our wars despite being the underdog in every single one. West Point does not teach the wars of Israel because they make no military strategy sense!

Today too, despite being handicapped by the US Biden administration, Israel will overcome. How? I have no clue, but history is clear. The survival of the third Jewish commonwealth of Israel has never been dependant upon our allies or military strategy, but by unexplainable miracles on the battle field that can only be attributed to a higher power looking after the Jewish people.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!
