Trump’s demand that Hamas release all the hostages this past weekend or else hell would be unleashed on Gaza appeared to melt away as soon as Hamas only released three hostages. The region and the world assumed that was it – Israel would soon be back to fighting in the strip. But the day came and went and then the next day and the next.
So did Trump and Bibi wimp out? Perhaps, or perhaps they really are just trying to get as many hostages out as possible before the gates of hell are opened upon Gaza. Trump seems committed to getting rid of Hamas and removing the Jihadist Nazi society from Gaza once and for all, but he also understands that Israel needs closure or as much closure as it can get before the final phase of the Gaza war is carried out.
If it is true that tomorrow the bodies of Shiri Bibas and her two young sons will be delivered, it will be a trigger to restart the war after this Saturday’s hostage transfer is complete.
The Coming Egypt-Israel War
The other component of holding back a bit more is the build up of the Egyptian Army in the Sinai. Israel only now has received advanced weapons and munitions and will need to prepare for an Egyptian counter attack that will be far more serious that anything it has contended with during the 15 month war with Iran and its proxies.
It is clear the Egyptian Army is not just there for show, it intends to strike when Israel sends in its troops to not only defeat Hamas, but reconquer the whole of Gaza and establish a military occupation that uproot the Gazan Jihadist Nazis once and for all.
Arab Plan For Gaza
This Friday, the Arab world is set to meet and discuss their own plan for Gaza’s day after in hopes that it will dissuade Trump from his. The fact is, a Gaza day after plan is far away. Trump knows the only real viable option is for Israel to occupy the Gaza Strip and deport the entire Arab population there. The only way to achieve this is for Israel to attack and take the Gaza Strip.
Arab residents of Gaza may feel good mocking Trump, but hell is coming for them and they may not like what it looks like.
