Allen West is not one to back down from a fight. And he fights for truth. West also fights for American freedom and way of life. This politician isn’t afraid of Obama and says some very obvious facts about Obama and the Iran deal that need to be said.

Who is Allen West?

Allen was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1961. His father served in World War Two and his brother served in Vietnam. Additionally, his mother worked as a civilian employee of the United States Marine Corps.  So, Army service runs deeply through his veins.  His family is incredibly devoted to serving America. Allen excelled in his studies and received a master’s degree in political science.

Military service

Allen West joined the army and served as an airborne infantry fire support officer. The US army deployed him for Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. Allen later became the operations officer for the 18th Field Artillery Brigade. Then, they assigned him as executive officer of 1st Battalion, 377th Field Artillery Regiment. After that, West served as an Army exchange officer at the II Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Lejeune from 1999 to 2002. His superiors promoted him to lieutenant colonel. Due to his incredible service to his country, his superiors awarded him many medals. They include: the Bronze Star; Meritorious Service Medal; Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; Valorous Unit Award.

Political career

In 2010, Allen was elected as a Republican to Congress. Since Allen is a public figure with a wealth of military background, it is appropriate that he comment both on the nuclear deal with Iran (a sponsor of terrorism) and Obama (who made the deal). Thankfully, President Trump has pulled out of the disastrous deal. The Iranian government lied about their nuclear program repeatedly and wants to kill Americans. What American could actually trust them? Who could trust someone who wants you dead? Thankfully we have a leader who recognized a bad deal and stopped it.
