The fact is, when it comes to Iran, nothing can be taken at face value. While Netanyahu might publicly swear fealty to the US deal, at the end of the day, Israel is preparing a preemptive attack on Iran’s nuclear program regardless of America’s public display of a potential deal.
Iran is closing in on a nuclear weapon. Beyond that, its proxies are gaining strength. With a weakened USA, Israel has limited time to decided whether or not to attack Iran or succumb to its ever strengthening hand, backed up by Russia and China.
While in the past Israel has refrained from an attack on Iran, now it has no choice.
