Say hello to Sameer Zuberi. He is quite the controversial Muslim activist. He has made antisemitic and anti-Israel comments. He supports the BDS Movement. Zuberi has even said that Israel is an apartheid state. Well, he definitely has shown what kind of politician he is. And it is not the kind of politician that Canadians should be embracing. Sameer Zuberi is also a 9/11 conspiracy theorist.
Yet, he won the Liberal nomination in Canada. What does that say about Canadian Liberals? Every moral person should be appalled. He does not seem to have such a positive track record.
Do Canadian Liberals care?
Do they care about their nomination? Why have they chosen him? They could have picked someone else. But they did not. The Canadian Liberals chose to embrace an antisemitic Muslim. They chose to embrace someone who rejects the only democracy in the Middle East, the Jewish state. If a Liberal REALLY cared about Liberal values, they would realize that Israel represents everything they say they stand for.
But the fact is, they picked Sameer Zuberi. And for that, they should be ashamed of themselves.
