Exposed: How the Deep State’s Media Machine Targeted the Wrong Man

Little by little, Israel’s deep state is being taken down. That is why the political left are going insane and constantly working to divide us as a people instead of focusing on being unified to defeat our barbaric enemies. Unfortunately, it is this deep state that destroyed the army before Oct. 7th and literally allowed for the failure of our mighty IDF and air force to protect us on Oct. 7th.

I want to share with you one of the latest examples exposing how Israel has been run by a deep state of unelected officials, ignoring, dismissing and even refraining from updating our elected officials elected to make the decisions.

People ask: How can it be that on Oct. 7th, the top senior command of the IDF and intelligence services met hours before the tragic invasion, called up special teams to rescue certain officers on the Gaza border, and yet failed to update the Prime Minister or warn the army units to be prepared in case of an invasion?

This is how….

Because Israel’s senior military and defense officials, including former IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, behaved as if they were running both the army and the State of Israel, rather than serving as the head of an army that answers to Israel’s elected leadership.

Here is the latest expose…
Israel’s Channel 11 just had a news report quoting a recently former senior IDF officer (aka former Chief of Staff) lambasting Israel Finance Minister Smotrich for receiving information from “moles” in the IDF with the news station “investigating” the incident.

Smotrich struck back with a scathing statement that exposes for all to see the sick, deceptive ways of the deep state officials together with the mainstream media…

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich launched a particularly sharp and direct criticism of former IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, accusing him of withholding information from the cabinet and being behind the so-called “investigation” against him (Smotrich):

“Last night, the public broadcasting corporation aired an extremely serious report, apparently sourced from a senior IDF official who has just left his position and whose identity I know. This report raises serious questions about how our security establishment operates and how it perceives its role vis-à-vis the elected political leadership.

Three especially serious points emerged from this report:

First, the use of the term ‘mole’ regarding figures within the IDF. IDF soldiers and commanders, past and present, are dedicated individuals who devote their lives to Israel’s security. Calling them ‘moles’ is a grave statement that dishonors those who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice for Israel’s defense.

Second, the claim that there is ‘suspicion within the cabinet.’ I ask—suspicion of whom? The Minister of Finance is a cabinet member and sits on the most classified ministerial committees. I hold the highest level of security clearance and have access, by virtue of my position, to the nation’s most sensitive secrets—secrets that won’t be declassified even 50 years from now. The cabinet is entrusted with making the most fateful decisions for the State of Israel—decisions about national security, the country’s future, and matters of life and death. The cabinet consists of my colleagues in the political leadership, with the Prime Minister at its head. There is no ‘suspicion’ in the cabinet—rather, there is suspicion regarding senior IDF officials who, for years, have concealed information from the cabinet and misled its members. This was one of the factors that led to October 7, and it is extremely serious.

But the gravest issue of all is the claim that the Minister of Finance would arrive at cabinet meetings with information that the Prime Minister did not have. And I ask: How is it possible that in a democratic country with an elected government and a security cabinet, a security official—any security official—holds critical information and does not bring it to the attention of the Prime Minister and the cabinet members? In what functioning country do cabinet ministers have to cross-check the information they receive in meetings to ensure that nothing is being hidden from them or that they are being told the full truth?

This statement—deliberately briefed to the media as more than just an accusation but as an outright declaration—screams from the walls and reminds us just how much some people have failed to learn the lessons of the disastrous failures that led to October 7.

There are still those who do not understand the role of the political leadership and the duty of the professional security establishment toward it.

There are still those who do not understand what the security cabinet is—the holy of holies of Israel’s security establishment and national defense.

And there are still those who believe that such conduct is acceptable, even after the horrors of October 7 and the heavy price they brought upon us.

Unfortunately, I can personally attest that in many cases, Chief of Staff Halevi and senior IDF officials did not provide us with the full truth in cabinet discussions. Dozens of times, I had to confront them with information I obtained from the field. This is unacceptable.

So let me be clear—I take pride in the fact that since the war began, I have dedicated hundreds and thousands of hours to learning, consulting, and preparing for discussions. I leave no stone unturned, no document unread. I examine every intelligence report sent to us and engage in conversations with numerous figures across the security establishment to gather and cross-check information, sharpen my judgment, and form my position. I am in constant dialogue with any relevant source who can contribute to my decision-making process within Israel’s security cabinet. Some I knew beforehand; others I have come to know through my role as Finance Minister—where I oversee IDF budgets—or through my involvement in the Ministry of Defense. Many connections were forged in the heat of war, in deep conversations aimed at one goal only: ensuring the best and most informed decisions are made.

Those who know me understand that I have never leaked or briefed information from cabinet meetings or other closed-door discussions. I never misuse the intelligence I receive, except to fulfill my duty in the cabinet. That is why people trust me and maintain contact with me.

I take pride in having access to sources and knowing what I need to know. As a cabinet member, it is my duty to be informed—without knowledge, one cannot make the right decisions.

But I am also deeply concerned. I have witnessed firsthand how the positions presented to us in the cabinet—the elected leadership—do not reflect the full range of opinions and perspectives within the IDF. Instead, we are presented with only one version. That is a fundamental problem that must be addressed.”

This is just one tiny example exposing the deep state of unelected officials and the mainstream media.

Thankfully, with the Trump administration in the process of dismantling the deep state in America, Netanyahu can finally work on dismantling the deep state in Israel. What’s the connection? Exactly. They are connected.
