French Journalist Stands Up Alone Against Islam

Zineb El-Rhazoui is our woman of the day, a lone voice against the untouchable status of Islam in France and the Western world. She is also the author of the book ‘Destroy Islamic Fascism’ (in French).

Zineb El-Rhazoui

El-Rhazoui is a Moroccan-born French journalist. She works as a columnist for the Paris-based satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, that was attacked by Muslim terrorists on Jan. 7, 2015, murdering some of her co-workers. She was on a trip to Morocco at the time of the attack. Due to her background, she is Charlie Hebdo’s religion expert and a passionate critic of Islam.

In the video El-Rhazoui says the truth straight out, that “Islam is an ideology; it’s an idea; it’s something that shouldn’t be above criticism”. Why the liberal world today, that promotes criticism of all ideas and all religions, gives Islam a pass, makes no sense. Not only does the liberal world give Islam a pass, it promotes Islam as a religion of peace, delegitimizing anyone who criticizes Islam. That is absurd.

Life in Danger

In response to her recent statements, El-Rhazoui has been called a whore and threatened with violence, murder and rape. She is receiving an avalanche of online abuse from Muslims, especially for saying that Islam should submit to French law. Yet, El-Rhazoui says she has no intention of backing down. And the freedom loving world should thank her for that. Because she is one of the very few who have the guts to stand up strong with this truth, even as it endangers her life. She lives under 24/7 police protection, never far from her bodyguards, and she doesn’t back down from saying what needs to be said about Islam.

She will not be stopped. For years she has been speaking out against hardline Islam. She believes that she has the right to be vocal about this, and we agree. Too bad today’s so-called liberal world does not.
