WhatsappThe IAF attacked a Hezbollah missile storage center in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut yesterday. The attack destroyed an infrastructure where precision missiles of the terrorist organization Hezbollah were stored.
The IDF released a statement saying:
“Storing missiles in this infrastructure constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens. The terrorist organization Hezbollah stored missiles in a building in the heart of the civilian population. This is another example of the terrorist organization Hezbollah’s cynical use of Lebanese citizens as human shields.”
Despite calls to disarm, Hezbollah has continued to hold out in hopes that the new Lebanese government will stand down. This has not happened. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun appears to be serious in his goal of disarming Hezbollah. A clear unwritten partnership has emerged between Aoun and Israel -allowing Israel to take measures in taking out Hezbollah in order Aoun in finally pushing out Hezbollah from Lebanon.
