WhatsappWhile the COVID-19 pandemic is sweeping the world, reshaping the way humanity lives, interacts, and ultimately survives old fanatic animosities still rage.
Based on the belief that the current pandemic is the sign that the coming of their mahdi is close, shiite led Iran is still expanding and planning eventual control of the Middle East and ultimately focused on destroying Israel.
Ultimately, Iran’s actions will clearly be influenced by what Ali Vaez, the Iran Project director for the International Crisis Group, called “crisis therapy.”
“The reality is that a regime under siege from all sides and that has no exit ramp might calculate that it has little to lose and a confrontation with the U.S. would be a good distraction,” Vaez told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
On March 16th Adam Credo from the Free Beacon reported the following:
“Iranian forces have taken a “warlike” posture across the Islamic Republic as another of Tehran’s top political figures admits he has contracted the coronavirus, according to reports in Iran’s state-controlled media.”
While the US military shores up its defenses and attempts to insulate itself from the spread of the coronavirus, the Iranian backed militia’s in Iraq have continued their attacks, even killing British and American soldiers there.
COVID-19 has decimated many of the people in leadership positions as well as distracted and shut down much of their economy, but this is exactly what is now propelling the regime forward for what they believe is the final battle fast approaching.
“The Iranians as a result of the combined impact of sanctions and the coronavirus are under tremendous economic duress,” Vaez said. “If they had any cushion that could keep them afloat until the U.S. elections,” when Trump’s potential departure might ease sanctions pressure, “that has evaporated.”
Israel, for its part has continued to pound heavily on Syrian defenses, attempting to soften them in hopes of keeping a maddening Iranian regime away.
As the world descends further and further into chaos, Israel may have held back the coronavirus from overtaking it unlike the Western world, but it must hold strong against an Iranian enemy driven increasingly obsessed with bringing about its own version fo the End of Days and the return of the “mahdi” in hopes that the regime can outlast and internal collapse.
Israel’s leaders may be distracted with Corona and disputes on who will lead an emergency coalition, but the real threat is growing just when it appears that the US will no longer be able to help when it is needed the most.
Salvation comes in the darkest moments. It comes when we least expect, but it ultimately come from within. Israel’s leaders are distracted, the USA is falling, and the Land of Israel is surrounded, but we are not alone. We never have been.
