WhatsappThe BDS movement’s goal is to promote boycotts, divestments, and sanctions against Israel. Israel is the one democracy in the Middle East, but apparently, the BDS movement isn’t a fan of freedom, innovation, and creativity.
Boycotting Israel
The BDS movement will do anything in their power to boycott Israel and Israeli products. The problem is that so many products that BDS supporters use were created and invented by Israel. If they truly wanted to boycott Israel, they would have a difficult time going about their daily lives. Israel is responsible for so much of the technology that the world uses. They also created important products that are central to the lives of so many that most BDS supporters don’t even realize what they would have to give up in order to boycott Israel. You can check out an extensive list of Israeli inventions here. The BDS movement also tries to prevent others from supporting Israel. At the end of the day, they are promoting hate, not peace.
Boycott Fail
Thomas Jefferson University announced that they are opening a center in Israel. What a boycott fail! And their center in Israel is one of only 5 global centers! They understand the value of opening a center in Israel, a country where there is constant innovation. What a major blow to the BDS movement! As the BDS movement tries to convince the world that Israel violates human rights and is an evil entity, Thomas Jefferson University is telling the world otherwise. They are showing the world the advantages of creating ties with Israel.
More businesses and universities should continue to expand to Israel. As Israel flourishes, so will those who create ties with Israel. And as Israel continues to grow, BDS continues to fail.
The BDS movement does NOT represent the truth. Ultimately, truth will prevail.
