Israelis have a lot of unique qualities. One of those qualities is being able to laugh and make jokes even when things are serious. You can call it what you want – a coping mechanism to get through rough times, a good sense of humor. Who knows. But either way, it feels good to smile. We are human. We want to feel happy. There is so much darkness in the world. The Jewish people have been through a lot. And sometimes, we need to just laugh it off in certain situations. So that’s what Israeli comedian Yohay Sponder did here.
The BDS Movement has tried to bring down the Jewish people and Israel time and time again. And they have failed time and time again. The fact that Sponder is making fun of them shows that. A movement dedicated to destroying us probably doesn’t think it’s so funny when comedians mock what it tries to do.
The people of Israel will continue to smile. We have had a long journey. And there is nothing wrong with getting some good laughs in!
