What this Israeli star did is so original! He took a song thanking God and sang it in four different languages. People all across the globe can understand!

The Unique Israeli Star

Tal Vaknin did something that most stars don’t do, if any do at all. This Israeli star sang his song in four different languages. Most songs are only sang in one language, maybe two. But this is just unique! This allows people throughout the world to understand parts of the song.

Every morning, Jews recite the prayer of “Modeh Ani.” It is a prayer to God thanking Him for returning our soul. It is such a beautiful concept for a morning routine to begin with thanking the Creator of the world. The translation of the Hebrew words that a Jew says is: “I offer thanks to You, living and eternal King, for You have mercifully restored my soul within me; Your faithfulness is great” (Translation Chabad.org). Others translate the ending as “Your faith in me is great,” that God trusts in us that we can accomplish great things.

Lyrics to the Song

Here are the English lyrics to this song:

I’m thankful every morning for my Strength for my guardians.
Thankful for the blessings you provided in my life.
Grateful for the life the fact that I’m alive.
I cry to you I reach for you I’m questing just for you.
You are my life my soul my heart.
To you.
I will cry to you.

Such beautiful and heartfelt words!
