Jewish College Student’s Amazing Response to Being Called a Nazi

This Jewish college student’s response was amazing. Every college student should follow in her footsteps to know how to respond to the Jew-hating SJP (students for justice in palestine) activists.

A Jewish girl was called a Nazi last night at a BDS vote. Her response, “We, the Jewish people, can defend ourselves and this time we will not stand by as our people again are threatened with slaughter by Hamas and their National SJP supporters.”

Her name is Nina Raab (@RaabNina). Go show her some support on Twitter!

This happened at the University of Illinois on Thursday’s Jew-hating anti-Israel vote to boycott Israel.

After more than six hours of deliberation, the student government at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) passed a BDS resolution in the early hours on Thursday morning that calls on the university to divest from “companies that profit from human-rights violations in Palestine and other communities globally,” as well as from firms that provide weaponry and technology to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The final vote was 20 in favor, nine against and seven abstentions. Another disgrace for a US university, where students are brainwashed with lies against Israel and Jews, and instead side with terrorists who want to destroy Israel, America’s best and most reliable ally in the Middle East.

Notice how this resolution, at a US University, is both anti-Israel and anti-American. It wants to punish Israel for defending Israeli citizens from the horrendous terror in the name of “palestine” that kills innocent Israeli citizens. But, it also wants to punish Israel for providing weapons and technology to the US to better enforce border control.

Once again we see a strong connection between anti-Israelism/antisemitism and anti-Americanism.

Official Statement

Dear Friends,

On the evening of February 12, 2020, the Illinois Student Government (ISG) passed Resolution 03.61 “Violations of Human Rights in University Investments”. During the public comment portion, one of our students, who is the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, spoke about her experiences as a Jewish student on this campus and referenced a poster she saw this Fall saying “Fuck Nazis, Support Palestinians.” Essentially, Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP UIUC) called her, and other members of the Jewish community, Nazis. When our student described being called a Nazi to the student government, a student sitting with the writers of this resolution and with SJP responded, “damn right!” and was applauded by several members of the audience, SJP, and members of ISG. The divisive atmosphere bolstered by this resolution legitimized this hateful remark and exposed the malicious and despicable hatred towards Jewish students by the supporters of SJP and the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement.

We call on SJP and ISG to release a statement condemning and disavowing this student and the comment that he made. Despite our disagreements, we hope that we can all come together to denounce this disgusting and vile behavior that is unwelcome on our campus. This act of hatred is unacceptable and is in opposition to everything our university stands for. Now is the time to speak up against anti-semitism.

Sincerely,

Illini Students Supporting Israel, Illini Public Affairs Committee – IlliniPAC
