John Bolton is a believer in ‘peace through strength.’ Finally, President Trump is making the personnel changes necessary to change diplomatic directions for the US. No more appeasement of enemies that exacerbates conflicts, but peace through strength.

Timing is Right

Back in 2006 the Democratic Congress forced Bolton to resign as US Ambassador to the United Nations, since they would not confirm his appointment. He was one of the most successful US Ambassadors ever at the United Nations because he said the truth.

Instead of having him in the United Nations, the Democrats will now have to live with him working out of the White House.

Jessie Jane Duff, Gunnery Sergeant, U.S. Marine Corps (ret), Senior Fellow, London Center for Policy Research weighs in on the Bolton appointment on Fox News.

“Bolton is the right man at the right time. He has demonstrated absolute knowledge with North Korea, the situation in Iran, fighting radical Islamic terrorism. He is calling it out the way our nation needs to be stated.”

Mass Media Headlines

Just look at the headlines and coverage of some of the mainstream media and you’ll see what a great choice this is. The same old media sources that are vocally against Trump, support appeasing the biggest state sponsors of terror, Iran and North Korea.  These same media sources criticize the Bolton choice.

The Guardian: “The Observer view on the danger John Bolton poses to world peace”

Foreign Policy: “John Bolton Is a National Security Threat”

And of course, no media source can top CNN: “What stands between John Bolton and blowing up the world?”

And now for proof of how John Bolton understands reality and will help make the world safer because he is a hawk:

Consequences

In order for the terror supporting states to stop terrorizing the freedom loving world they must be afraid of consequences. So, as long as the Western World, under US leadership, never threatened any concrete consequences, nothing truly mattered. They have simply never been afraid to stop. But now, the tide has turned.

We wish John Bolton, Mike Pompeo and the newly developing national security and state department teams under President Trump much success.  Lets hope the world is a safer and better place to live in at the end of their administration. Peace through strength and not through appeasement.
