Is the Muslim faith really the religion of peace? Well, there are different views on this matter. But are Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar the new representatives of the Muslim faith for the future decades? If so, we have a big problem on our hands. They represent everything that is not positive about the Muslim faith – they represent everything that is based on falsehoods and classic anti-Semitism.

Progressive Views and The Truth

There is a basic problem that progressives have when they discuss complex issues. They typically put aside basic facts and truths and focus on feelings and hunches. This is not due to a lack of intelligence. It is a conscious choice to side with what feels right and not with what IS right. That is because a basic attitude of so many progressives is that there is no absolute right or absolute wrong. This is absolutely wrong.

Once there is no right and wrong, then the world basically is one big chaotic place where everyone’s feelings are constantly being trampled on by everyone. This is an impossible state. If there is nothing that is just and nothing that is unjust, but just a world of amorphous feelings that people walk around expressing, then there is no point in anybody doing much of anything. After all, what point is there to anything in a world that has no absolute truth.

That is the essential difference between liberals and progressives. Age-old liberals do not let their feelings take over. They reign in their feelings with thoughts that are genuine and reasonable. But they prioritize rights and not responsibilities. Progressives not only do not believe in responsibilities, but they only care about feelings. This is totally against the age-old Judeo-Christian ethic of absolutism in the world. Once God is removed from the picture, there is chaos. We need to bring back the Lord into the picture of our moral codes.
