This News anchor reveals the alarming truth about the Democratic Party. The way Congressmen are acting and the policies that are changing the party are taking a toll on American values.

Democratic Party

The modern-day democratic party was created in 1828 by supporters of Andrew Jackson. The Democrats dominant worldview was once social conservatism and economic liberalism. Since the New Deal Coalition in the 1930s, led by Roosevelt, the Democratic Party has led a socially liberal platform.

The Democratic National Committee is responsible for promoting Democratic campaign activities. It is more focused on campaigns and organizational strategy then party policy. The Chairman for this Committee is a man called Tom Perez, former Labor Secretary.

Policies:

  • Equal economic opportunity
  • In favor of raising the minimum wage, all Americans have a right to a fair wage.
  • Support a more progressive tax structure, in order to reduce economic inequality.
  • Democrats call for affordable and quality healthcare.
  • In favor of improving public education by raising school standards.
  • Endorses maintaining a women’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including safe and legal abortion.
  • They generally support an easier path towards citizenship for immigrants.
  • In favor of reducing crimes and homicide, the Party has introduced various gun control measures.
  • Endorses the death penalty.
  • Endorses maintaining a commitment to Israel’s security. They believe in a two-state solution, under conditions that Israel’s security concerns are met and any Palestinian partner must recognize Israel’s right to exist, reject violence, and adhere to existing agreements.

Since the election of Ilhan Omar, who has criticized Israel and made anti-Semitic remarks. The Democratic Party has done nothing. The silence might just encourage the tormentor. Someone in the Party needs to stand up to her. Many Jews are now leaving the Democratic Party because of what Omar has been saying and no one is calling in for her resignation.
