The NGO Peace Now falsely advertises who they are. They do not want peace, now or ever. Peace Now is an anti-Israel group, and there are many of these groups throughout the world. They want to uproot the Jewish people from their homeland. They do not want a two-state solution, they want to destroy the one and only Jewish state and create a Palestinian Arab state. Peace Now refers to the Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria as “settlements” and believe that those towns is the reason there is no peace. Firstly, the land belongs to the Jewish people. So no – these towns and communities are not “settlements.” They are TOWNS and COMMUNITIES. Secondly, the reason there is not peace in Israel is because the Palestinian Arabs want to obliterate the Jewish people and the Jewish state. They use violence and terrorism – is that peaceful?
Peace Now Puts Up Illegal Sign
Mitzpe Yericho is an Israeli community in the Judean Desert. Peace Now went and put up a sign ILLEGALLY at the front of Mitzpe Yericho. The sign claimed that the town is illegal and against the law of Israel. They claimed that it is not Judaism and Zionism. What a blatant lie! Mitzpe Yericho is not illegal. Peace Now just tries to demonize Israel. They use lies. They are antisemitic!
So, what did residents of the community do? Well, they took down the sign – of course. What would you do if someone hung up a sign in front of YOUR home saying that it was illegal?
