When most people discuss the main issue in the Middle East, they will generally say that it is the Arab-Israeli conflict. However, in truth the main issue is not that at all. The main thing that is actually the main cause of so many of the problems in the Middle East is the oppression of Arabs by Arabs. But there are very few people who are willing to stand up and say it.
Who are the oppressors of the Arabs?
The Arabs in the State of Israel have freedom of religion, freedom to vote, and the best healthcare from Jewish and Arab doctors who work together in hospitals and clinics across the country. In Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, the Sunni Arabs and the Shiite Arabs have a high level of distrust. That is in the best case scenario. In the worst case scenario, they fight civil wars against each other and oppress each other mercilessly. Freedom to vote is a farce as evidenced by the voting results. Victories of 90% and 80% for the dominant political parties are the best proof of a non-free political system.
But this is the norm for most Arabs in the Middle East. In Israel, Arabs serve on the Supreme Court and place Israeli politicians in jail – including the President of the State of Israel. In Israel, Syrian refugees from the Civil War literally sneak across the Israeli border through Israeli humanitarian organizations and are treated for their wounds in Israeli hospitals. The best place to be an Arab in the Middle East is the State of Israel. The worst place to be is under Arab domination – whether outside the borders of the State of Israel or under the Palestinian Authority in Judea and Samaria.
