The Trump administration just announced that they would be cutting another $200 million in funding to the United Nations organization responsible for Arab refugees from 1948, UNRWA.

The US official explained that “at the direction of President Trump, we have undertaken a review of US assistance to the Palestinian Authority and in the West Bank and Gaza. This is to ensure these funds are spent in accordance with US national interests and provide value to the US taxpayer.”
“As a result of that review, at the direction of the President, we will redirect more than $200 million in FY2017 (fiscal year 2017) Economic Support Funds originally planned for programs in the West Bank and Gaza,” the official added.
Erekat Response
“This is a flagrant declaration that the real aim of US aid is to interfere in the internal affairs of other peoples and affect their national rights.” This statement is from veteran PLO official, and now chief PA negotiator Erekat.
Erekat added that the decision to cut aid “is a sign that [Washington] has abandoned its international obligations.” He insisted that “the Palestinian people reject any conditional aid.”
This is the same Erekat who has said NO to every single peace deal ever proposed. And the same Erekat, who just months ago, negated President Trump and the USA from being brokering “peace” talks months ago.
Past US Presidents gave in to the blackmail of the PLO and Palestinian Authority and always pressured Israel. Finally the world has a US President and a leader pressuring the side that deserves to be pressured, the side responsible for all the massive terror and incitement, as well as the side that always says NO to every deal.
PLO
The Palestinian Authority is the whitewashed Palestine Liberation Organization, a terror organization since the 1960s. They created the airplane hijackings decades ago as a weapon against Israel. The PLO also used to blackmail countries by promising to not terrorize their countries or their citizens, in exchange for silence and/or assistance in pressuring Israel.
UNRWA
The USA is the biggest donor to UNRWA, an organization that keeps the Arab refugees from 1948 as refugees, instead of helping resettle them, 70 years since they became refugees. The billions of dollars given to UNRWA is used to educate the children in UNRWA schools that one day they will destroy Israel and reclaim the homes that their grandparents ran away from.
The Hamas organization staffs UNRWA schools. UNRWA hospitals in Gaza house Hamas headquarters. Hamas hides rockets in UNRWA schools and hospitals. While the stated goal of UNRWA is to help the refugees, their true goal is to assist in the war to destroy Israel, all with funding from the USA and European donor countries.
Cutting Funding
Funding should have been cut decades ago, but no US President or world leader would dare do so because of the terror blackmail of the PLO/Palestinian Authority. Thankfully, the world has President Trump who is doing what no other President would do. Punishing the bad guys and saving US taxpayer money.
Today these same PLO/PA terrorists are angry at President Trump and the USA for cutting funding to one of the biggest financial scams of the world, the UN organization called UNRWA. In response to their decision to cut the funding, the chief negotiator of the Palestinian Authority is attacking the USA for “blackmailing” them by withholding funding.
