As US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley brought an attitude based on reality that had been missing from US foreign policy for decades.
As Haley herself has said on many occasions “When foreign aid goes to countries that take our generosity and bite our hand rather than link up arms with us, it’s time to stop it.” That approach sounds like basic A, B, C of diplomacy, yet had been ignored by previous US administrations.
One administration after another would coddle the terrorist-sponsoring countries of the world and terror organizations of the world, like the Palestinian Authority, instead of treating them for what they were. Nikki Haley changed that approach, and for that, Israel and the whole Israeli people are grateful.
She was the first Ambassador to the UN who actually stood up for the truth, understanding that only be dealing with the truth can the US make the world a better and safer place.
