King David’s Psalms are a great way to connect to God. Each Psalm is unique and recited for different reasons.

King David’s Psalms

King David is a well-known figure in the Bible. Many know him as the young man who fought the giant Goliath. As a young man, he was a shephard and only later became king of Israel.

The Book of Psalms was written by king David over the course of his lifetime. There are 150 Psalms, each one different and unique from the one before. Psalms show an arrange of feelings of trust, hope, thanks, and praise. People recite Psalms for various reasons, asking God for good health or peace or thanking Him for a joyous occasion.

This well-written song is from Psalm 146. It talks about praising and singing to God as long as we live. From the day we are born till the day we die our mission is to serve God. Additionally, the Psalm continues to say we should serve God with all we’ve got.

Serving God

There are many ways to serve God. One way would be to help those less fortunate than us. Praying or thanking God or serve Him by keeping His commandments that are written in the Bible, and by studying the Bible and what is written in it is a way of serving God. The ways in which to serve God are endless, each individual serves Him in their own unique way.

Finally, God shall reign forever and for all generations. He has control over everything.
