The Gold Medal Israeli Gymnast
Watching this video and learning about the journey of Linoy Ashram is beyond inspiring. Her story would have been amazing to begin with. But the fact that she took home the gold medal is unbelievable!
How is it that she didn’t give up? How did Linoy continue even when the going got tough? She is such a dedicated gymnast!
If You Will it, It is No Dream
Theodor Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, once said, “Im Tirtzu, ein zo aggada.” That means, “If you will it, it is no dream.” He was referring to building the state of Israel. And yes, it became a reality. Through Divine Providence and many miracles, a Jewish state was born. God gave the Jewish people the choice to act and make it happen. And they did.
But the lesson we can learn is that if you really want something, you can make it happen. If you are truly dedicated and give your all, you can make the impossible possible. And it seems that Linoy Ashram really follows that motto. Because she managed to do things that other people would think are completely impossible. And that is really inspiring!
