They each have their own jobs to fulfill on this Earth. Judaism does not hold that men are better than women or that women are better than men. Judaism holds that they both have unique roles to play, and neither can be fulfilled by the opposite gender. Just like there are the Jewish patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob – there are also Jewish matriarchs – Sarah, Rivka, Rachel, and Leah. They all were holy in God’s eyes. They all had tasks they had to accomplish. And God loved them all.
