Pat Condell is one of a kind.  He clearly foresaw so much of what is going on now in Europe.  The present and future are indeed very worrisome.  Yet he does have a message of hope.  Europeans have a duty to put a stop to this madness.  More importantly, they have the power to, but time is of the essence!

Lessons from World War II

In the years leading up to World War II, the United States of America had a significant majority that was squarely against getting involved in a battle in Europe against the Nazi threat. World War I had left a major impact on the people of the United States. It seemed like an unnecessary price was paid for what was accomplished. Isolationism was rampant, and FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) chose the popular line of isolationism too in the 30’s. However, he understood way before most that the threat of Nazism would almost definitely necessitate the entry of the United States back into a massive war on foreign soil. The alternative was a massive war on American soil without the help of allies. It would be too later for them to help. FDR led the way in bringing the United States off the mindset of isolationism. This may indeed be one of his most important accomplishments.

Grassroots Support for Confrontation

However, the American population also should be credited with the realization that Nazism brought the world into a new age. It was a time to fight. The British understood this right away when their cities were bombed. The Soviet Union learned the hard way when the Nazis attacked on June 22, 1941.

Today, we face a different foe. It is one that does indeed hope to destroy our way of life. But, the mass of the Western world still does not fully understand the scope of the threat. It is real, and it is already here. but it will grow in leaps and bounds if we don’t put a stop to unbridled immigration in Europe.

Pat Condell’s logic is as sharp as a knife. Let us not make the mistake of ignoring his warnings. The earlier we adapt to the new reality, the better off we will be.
