It was a struggle that lasted years. The struggle was between Jews who saw the liberation of Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria in 1967 as a miracle, and an opportunity to resettle our ancestral homeland and the government of Israel that tried to stop them, because they preferred to appease the Muslim Arab world.

This movie trailer is about the Jewish people who spearheaded the return and resettling of our homeland, against all odds. It was directed by Menorah Hazani, whose parents were two of those people.

In the words of the Director Menorah Hazani: After the war,  under international pressure, the State of Israel refused to allow the Jews to settle in Judea and Samaria. A small group of young heroes decided out of love for this Earth that it would be otherwise. Against all expectations, they succeeded in changing the course of history. Thanks to their belief and actions, half a million Jewish people followed them and today populate communities across Judea and Samaria.

“The Driving Spirit” recounts their moving story. This is a perfect movie to watch on Yom Yeroushalayim. Share this special movie with all. Click here to watch the movie. Happy Yom Yerushalayim
