You don’t have to be a dog lover to see the value in using dogs for security. It is truly amazing what you can train a dog to do.
Dogs are able to do a lot of things that humans cannot do. People often think about the combat soldiers when they think about the IDF. But there is the intelligence unit, the dogs, the trainers, and much more. There are so many different units in the IDF – some of which we may not even know about!
And these dog trainers are truly dedicated. They train dogs to help protect the Jewish nation and the Jewish state!
Don’t Forget the One Above
With all the success that the IDF has, and because they have such a strong army, it might be natural to forget that G-d is really the one who keeps Israel and the Jewish people safe. He has messengers – some may be humans and some may be dogs. But at the end of the day, we must turn to G-d and thank Him for protecting us. We must pray to Him to continue making Israel successful and to destroy the evils plans of Israel’s enemies.
Of course, we must also thank G-d’s messengers as well. In Israel, it is common to see IDF soldiers wherever you go. Show them some appreciation. Say thank you. Give them a reason to continue being strong.
