By now, it is quite obvious that there are several antisemites in America’s very own Congress. Included in the bunch are Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, both of whom plan to visit Israel.
But it is clear that they are only coming to slam the Jewish state more than they already have. It is clear that the reason for their trip has nothing to do with making peace. They will ignore the truth and bring back the lies. Why should we let them into Israel? As former Israeli ambassador to the US Danny Ayalon said, “Every democratic country has the right to deny entry from those who seek to destroy it.” It is that simple.
Will They Visit Yad Vashem?
Probably not. They are going to Israel to see the “occupation.” Omar compared The Boston Tea Party to the BDS Movement. She supports boycotting Israel. Her bill compared Israel to Nazi Germany. So no, she probably will not visit the Holocaust museum in Israel, Yad Vashem. Omar and Tlaib stay as far away from the truth as possible.
Danny Ayalon said that if they will visit Yad Vashem, then we can welcome them. If these two antisemitic congresswomen really want to value history and the Jewish state as oppose to rewriting the facts, then maybe we can accept them into the Jewish state. But otherwise, why should we?
