That’s called whiffing on a slow pitch right down the middle. Nearly any political novice would have seen that as a perfect opportunity for her to talk about the pain that people are having living from paycheck to paycheck or via the out of control situation at the border.
All she needed to do was espouse herself as the young agent of change who would show compassion for all those suffering. Instead, she spent nearly every speech saying that she will not be Donald Trump. In truth, people wanted to hear that she would not be Joe Biden. But she believed all of the anti-Trump rhetoric that so many in the press said about Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Donald Trump spoke with thousands of people every day across the entire United States – including in States where he had little chance of winning.
Many people voted for Trump despite being put off by his narcissism and his unpredictable tendencies. They simply held their nose and voted for change.
