Hassan lives and works in Abu Gosh, an Arab town around 15 minutes northwest of Jerusalem. He also volunteers for United Hatzalah.
Abu Gosh is a very important Arab town. It is right off the main Jerusalem-Tel-Aviv highway, and very close to many Jewish towns. It has a reputation as being one of the most – if not the most – friendliest Arab town in Israel. Jewish cars freely travel through the town, and incidents nearly never occur there. Hassan is one example of the many Arab volunteers that United Hatzalah works with throughout the Land of Israel. People like this give us alot of hope for more amicable relationships between Jews and Arabs in the future of the Land of Israel. Thank you Hassan!
