WhatsappAs more Jews are contemplating aliyah, I thought it would be beneficial for those parents and kids thinking or planning about aliyah, to hear from me and my siblings about our aliyah experience as kids.
I got together with my siblings to have a real talk about how it was, as kids, to be told by our parents that we are moving home to Israel. I was 16 years old at the time, my brother was 14, my sister 12 and my youngest sister 3.
As you will hear, due to our different ages, personalities and social lives at the time, we each had very different experiences.
